Pinoy Fishball?!

First, what is a fishball?! It's a popular street food in the Philippines. It is made of flour and fish flavoring. It’s not really ball-shaped, It is like a flat circle, (“di ko nga din alam bat pisbol tawag dun, di naman korteng bola”) and cook it deep fry (“try kaya nilang i-steam un baka masarap”). I think fishball doesn’t even have a taste (“matabang pre”) but why is it so popular?! Because of it’s sauce, it brings the fishball to life (“di nabubuhay yung pisbol ha, nagkakalasa ang ibig kong sabihin”) and it’s very affordable (“.50 cents per piece”).

So why did I choose the name “Pinoy Fishball”?! Fishball always have the same taste (“pare pareho lang ang lasa nyan kid”). But if you dip it into the sauce, it becomes different. “parang tao din yan, magkakapareho man tayong lahat, may pagkakaiba din”. Sauces always have a different flavor and taste (“kahit kabisado mo na yung recipe ng sauce mo, maiiba at maiiba parin yan”), it is like the mood and emotions of a person, sometimes sweet, sometimes spicy, sometimes it’s bitter, or sometimes combination of 2 or more moods. So I think it truly symbolize us Filipinos, because of our colorful behavior. “Mabuhay ang mga pisbols!!”

Did I answer the question why did I choose the name “Pinoy Fishball”?!
“ala lang trip ko lang, baket ba?!”.

What is the purpose why I create this blog?! I dunno, I just learn about blogging in our 14th STI youth convention last Friday (Feb 06, 09). Our speaker said that you can talk about anything in your blog (music, sports, movies, etc…). I said to myself “ano yun parang online diary?!”. Sir Spanky (our speaker) said you can even add photos and videos in your blog.. “Cool, kelangan subukan yun”. I learn many things about blogging, it’s a like a hi-tech diary. You can tell about you’re life story in your blog, (“parang maalaala mo kaya, malay mo maisabuhay pa yun buhay mo sa tele-nobela”) or you’re tragic love life (“malay mo, mabasa ng mga writers yung storya mo mainspire pa sila”), even you’re childhood memories, (“para malaman ng buong mundo kung ano mga kalokohan mo nung bata ka pa”) or you can upload your videos and photos in your blog, who know you can be the next Arnel Pineda or Charisse Pempengco (“malay mo kunin ka ng Juan Dela Cruz Band o kaya ni Boy Abunda”) or be like me (“ala lang magawa kaya gumawa ng blog”).

“Teka ano nga bang gagawin ko dito sa blog ko?!”

So again, what is the purpose why I create this blog?! I really dunno, ahahaha just want to be cool “wag nga kaung makulit!! Yun lang purpose nun”.


Who am I?! just an ordinary 3rd year student, who want to express his nonsense ideas to the world. “Let’s go!!”
